The 中国人 Art Exhibition features 25 paintings and 25 works of calligraphy by faculty of the 大学 of Fine 艺术 at 南京师范大学. Some of the artists will attend the exhibition and demonstrate calligraphy and painting from 12 p.m. 到2点.m. 将提供茶点.

The exhibition is coming to Sanford because of the partnership the college has with the Confucius Institute at N.C. 州立大学. The college’s Confucius Classroom was created under the auspices of 该研究所. NCSU is the first university in the United States to develop this type of partnership with a community college and 中央 Carolina is the first community college in the U.S. 有一个教室. 车淑亚教授, 孔子课堂的讲师, came to the college from her position as associate professor of 中国人 linguistics and literature at 南京师范大学.

Guanglin戴, Confucius Institute program manager at NCSU arranged for the exhibition to come to the college.

The 中国人 artists featured in the exhibition are professors Lu Yue-zi, Chang Han-ping, 王继安. Lu is a member of the 中国人 Artists Association. His works have been shown in several national shows in China.&,,

Chang is a member of the 中国人 Calligrapher Association and a published author of books on 中国人 calligraphy. His works have been shown in international exhibitions. Wang is the dean of the Calligraphy Department at 南京师范大学. He is also the vice chairman of the Calligraphy Education Committee under the 中国人 Ministry of Education. Museums and cultural institutions collect his works internationally.

“We are delighted to bring this exhibition of 中国人 painting and calligraphy to our area,” said Dr. Bud Marchant, president of 中央卡罗莱纳社区学院. “The partnership between our college’s Confucius Classroom and NCSU’s Confucius Institute is a growing one.
